Remember the teapot that Nana used to own? It sat on the kitchen table ready for afternoon tea. It was sturdy enough for anyone to handle and keep the tea hot.
This is the traditional basket design. It even has the lid catcher to prevent the decorative lid from toppling over. Sadler used this impressed mark beginning in 1937. The inside has holes to pour the tea. There are no tea stains inside.
Measurements: From base to the top of the knob is 6.5" From tip of spout to curve of handle, it is 8.5". It holds 30 fluid ounces. This would be considered a five cup teapot.
This English teapot is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell this set, we prefer to have loyal repeat customers. You may buy with confidence. We do not sell damaged items and we note any flaws that we see.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
