Royal Stafford Bone China of England created this intriguing antique teacup and saucer. Years ago, there was a charming custom of bringing a teacup to a home to indicate friendship. It is enjoying a revival today especially at housewarmings.
This is partially hand painted with subtle dabs inside the gold shields. There is no gold loss. The price also includes free shipping within the US, gift wrap and insurance.
Royal Stafford Bone China of England crafted this mid century tea cup and saucer in 1952. They were based in the Royal Overhouse Manufactory, one of the oldest pottery factories in Burslem, the mother town of the Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent. The Royal Stafford brand was established in 1845 and is recognized around the world as providing high quality, beautiful tableware.
This vintage, hand painted teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. We do not sell damaged goods. You may buy with confidence.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 3.5" from rim to rim and 3" high to the top of the handle.
