Daisies happily intertwine around the elegant black bone china Royal Albert teacup and saucer.
The design is called Sylvia. It was used from 1970 to 1983. Note the angel wing handle on this English bone china cup and saucer. This is called their Gainsborough shape.
Royal Albert has become increasingly collected in recent years. The firm was the upscale division of the Thomas C Wild and Sons company located in St. Mary's Works, Longton, England. They produced lovely bone china beginning in 1917.

Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 3" high and 3.6" from rim to rim.
This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. There are odd white marks in a couple of the pictures. It is simply the light reflecting on the pleated china. There is no paint loss. You may buy with confidence.
