Indulge in luxury by using fine bone china English teacups and saucers.
This elegant and stunning antique tea cup was manufactured by the Royal Standard Fine Bone China company in England during the 1950's. This is a company that is an acknowledged leader in fine design. It was owned by the Chapmans Longton Ltd from the Albert Works, Longton, England, Staffordshire Potteries.
Please note the larger size. It holds 8 fluid ounces. The average teacup holds only six ounces. This eliminates the need for refilling the cup in the morning. It is a gorgeous, satisfying vessel.
We apologize for our pictures. Usually, we retake them until we get it right. On this set, it seems impossible. There is so much gold over the black, that the camera wants to blend them together and create a coppery look. In reality, the teacup and saucer evokes an image of a rich black crocodile with golden overlay and borders. The pretty hand painted flowers in the center is the surprise element.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 4.25" from rim to rim and is 2.5" high.
This set is in excellent condition. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence. There is no crazing nor are there any chips or cracks.

We no longer sell to China or the Middle East. Although the people are lovely, we have had too many delivery problems.
We ship within the continental US for free. For other areas, the order is sent via First Class International Mail with the US Post Office or with Global Shipping, a company that works with Etsy.
Of course, we are happy to work with large orders. Contact us through messages and explain your needs.
Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
