Cupid adorns this charming blue Jasperware vase by Wedgwood of England.
Jasperware refers to the velvet porcelain finish rather than the shiny surface that they also made them famous. Also appreciate the oak leaf and acorn border at the top.
Wedgwood is proudly incised into the bottom of the piece. Each of the white pieces are cut by hand and applied to the piece before baking. Any mistakes are discarded.
This piece is incised with the Wedgwood logo as well as '62 for its year of manufacture.
