This lovely Hammersley teacup and saucer is fascinating. The bone china teacup is trimmed with gold. Note the interesting handle and the scalloped edges on the teacup and saucer.
This English bone china backstamp was issued in 1912 to 1939. This design is partially hand painted.
Hammersley was part of Hammersley and Asbury, of the Prince of Wales Pottery from Longton, England. This was one of the many prestigious factories which made up the Staffordshire potteries. It was founded in 1872.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The flat cup is 2.4" tall and is 3.75" from rim to rim.
