Remarkable for its ability to coordinate with a variety of table linens and settings, this blue Jasperware Wedgwood creamer and sugar bowl is elegant. Notice that the inside on both pieces is glazed. The manufacturing date is 1971 for the creamer and 1972 for the sugar bowl incised on the bottom. This is called Jasperware because of its velvety finish on the outside. The inside is shiny to resist adsorption of liquids. The details are superb. For example, the spout is trimmed with a garland. This was done before the firing process.
Wedgwood of England is known for its use worldwide in the finest homes.
The price also includes free US shipping, and free insurance. This Wedgwood set is heavy and therefore is not eligible to be sent overseas. If you would like it quicker, you may purchase Priority Mail for $10.
