The aristocratic Clan MacLean motto, Virtue Mine Honor...My virtues are my honor is displayed upon this jaunty tartan teapot. Sweet heather and golden thistles add beauty to the gilt trimmed piece. Perhaps it is time for you to enjoy English Breakfast tea and hot scones on your own Clan teapot.

Sadler of England created this crested teapot using the MacLean Tartan. This is high end pottery rather than bone china. Sadler is highly collectible.

The price is for the teapot as well as Priority Mail shipping within the US as well as free shipping insurance. Out of the US, there is a shipping charge.

Measurements: The piece is 6"" from top to bottom and 9.75" from tip of the spout to outer handle. It is 3.75" wide. It holds 32 fluid ounces which is 4 cups. But since the standard for teacups is 6 ounces, it is called a 5 cup teapot.
The lid has a bow for its finial and a hole in it for steam. There is also a tab on the bottom of the lid to help hold it steady when pouring.

This piece is in good condition. Of course, we wish to sell the items, but we also want you to become a loyal, satisfied, repeat customer. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. However, there is a flaw. We have pictured it. There is a white curve on the golden edge. It is lack of gold paint, not damage that created it. It is under the glaze and happened when it was made.

We have never seen a teapot before. They are that difficult to obtain.
