The glossy, creamy white is the perfect background for the ever popular Rose pattern and stylish gold trim. The teapot holds 28 fluid ounces or 3.5 fluid cups. This is considered generous four cup teapot.
The measurements: It is 9.5" from spout to handle, 4.5" wide and 6" tall. It also has a tab inside the lid to help to prevent spilling or the lid falling off during use. There is the typical built in strainer inside the spotless pot.
This vintage teapot is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There a couple of spots where the gold line is worn, but no damage is done to the porcelain. We do not sell damaged wares. You may buy with confidence.
This charming antique teapot is made by Windsor of England. Some think that this was a division of the Hammersley Bone China in Longton, England, but the records about the company are scarce.
