This floral fine bone china teapot is by Crown Trent Bone China of England.
Pansies bring a smile perhaps because they have traditionally been used to symbolize loving feelings. The purple blossoms are highlighted by a pale yellow background.
Warm the teapot before brewing tea in it. Never put boiling water into it, but rather let the water sit a few minutes and then pour it in.
The lid has an inside tab on it to help prevent it from falling when pouring.
Measurements: It holds 40 fluid ounces which means it is usually called a six cup teapot. It is 9.5" from spout to the outer handle, 5.5" wide and 6" high.
