Royal Albert Bone China of England was owned by the Thomas C Wild and Sons Ltd of St Mary's Works in Longton, England. The company dates from 1917.
English bone china was admired for its lightness, translucency and its soft subtle almost pearly white quality. Much approved of by the tea party hostess of the nineteenth and early twentieth century.
This thistle trimmed bowl was created in their Avon shape.

Measurements: The small bowl is 2.5" high, 4.25" from rim to rim. It sits upon a 2.75" round footed base.
