This romantic lustreware teacup and saucer creates a sense of luxury that was dominant in the Georgian era.
This hand painted teacup with its nod to elegance was crafted over 200 years ago. Notice the wishbone handle. There is pink lustreware paint in the design. There are also some flecks that were caused by imperfections in the clay. They appear after being baked during manufacture. They are always present in china from that era.
