Joyously entertain guests and family using this exquisitely hand painted Limoges dessert dish.
This hand painted Haviland Limoges plate is signed by the artist, Joan Tuttle. Yes, the name is under the glaze. It was produced between 1894 and 1931, sometime between the Victorian age and the roaring twenties.
The history of Limoges china begins in the late 1700s when kaolin was found in the soil near the city of Limoges in the region of France known as Limousin. Serves, the Royal porcelain factory at the time, was commissioned by the Royal Court of France to manufacture the fine porcelain dinnerware.
There are many companies that are called Limoges because it is from a region of France rather than from one company.
This piece is 8.5" in diameter.
The pictures have been taken to illustrate some of the brush strokes. The yellow light is only reflection, not spotting on the china.
This French porcelain is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.

Of course, we are happy to work with large orders. Contact us through messages and explain your needs.
Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
