Elegance and symbolism combine to mean much more than a lovely teacup and saucer. This is associated with the Order of Eastern Star, OES.
This is probably a Japanese tea cup. There is no backstamp. It is thought that there was probably a paper label and it has detached over time. It does state that it is hand painted.
Measurements: The saucer is 6" in diameter. The cup is 3" high and 3.5" from rim to rim.
This teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
